There's A Reason Our Crime Rates Are Low

From KIVI-TV comes this account of a Las Vegas man who came to Boise to rob banks:

Johnson was sentenced to 272 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release, and ordered him to pay $23,033 in restitution.
Johnson admitted to traveling to Boise from Las Vegas, Nevada, because he believed Boise would be an easy target to rob banks because of its isolated location and relatively low crime rate.
Another bank customer followed Johnson out of the bank, and he was arrested by Boise police officers almost immediately.  Clueless criminals: there is a reason that we have low crime rates here.  Take a look at the 22+ years this idiot is going to spend in prison, and how rapidly Boise PD showed up to take the fool into custody.
