Those Who Believe in Nothing Will Believe in Anything

CBS Marketwatch http://www.marketwatch.com/story/why-millennials-are-ditching-religion-for-witchcraft-and-astrology-2017-10-20 reports that among millenials  belief in God is falling,  but a majority believe astrology is a science.

It may be that they do not know the difference between astrology and astronomy which is a bit better than thinking astrology is a science,  but still makes you wonder what they are being taught.   Remember worship science;  especially Sun signs and "the Moon is in the seventh house,  and Jupiter aligns with Mars..."

  1. Assume for a moment that planetary and lunar positions really do influence human behavior. you're considering a job offer, so the first thing you do is draw the company's horoscope. You're concerned about your immediate work environment, so assuming you can get birthday information you draw horoscopes of those you'd be working with. People don't normally live in isolation; to get a clear picture you need horoscopes of the significant persons in their lives, who in turn do not live in isolation and are each impacted by others. How many degrees of separation do you delve into for astrological analysis? You also want a good read on the company's economics, especially if your first real job after pizza delivery was with Worldcomm. You do horoscopes for the firms the company does business with, and major officers for those firms, and their significant personal relationships...
